Dr. Aaron Mitchell
Owner/CEO
Lead Physician & Medical Director
Dr. Aaron Mitchell feels blessed to have been serving patients in Marion for the past nine years. In doing so, he truly believes that “A joyful heart is a good medicine.” – Proverbs 17:22
Dr. Mitchell is highly trained and gives God all the glory for his many accomplishments over the years. Dr. Mitchell has 16 years of experience in the medical field. As CEO, he has grown MFM from 8 to 30 employees over the past three years. MFM has developed The Ark Children’s Clinic, and together, they are fully committed to bringing life-changing health care to the Delta, from the newborn to the elderly.

His clinical interests lie in diabetic management and internal medicine. He loves to incorporate new processes involving technology integration in health care. Dr. Mitchell is committed to delivering high-quality health care in a setting that utilizes technology to bring efficiency to his medical practice and allows the patient easier access to personalized care. He is co-owner and chief medical officer of Harmony Healthcare, MFM’s branch of non-profit health care in Wynne, Arkansas.

Dr. Mitchell is married to Rebecca, a pharmacist, and they have four beautiful children. Rebecca proudly home-schools their children. Dr. Mitchell lives in Marion, attends church at Bellevue Baptist, and is an active member of his community. He and Rebecca co-teach a 4th-5th grade Sunday School class at Bellevue Baptist Church. He has served on medical mission trips overseas to Brazil, Ghana, and Mexico.In his spare time, Dr. Mitchell loves to go camping in his RV. He loves spending time with his family while traveling across the nation. He aims to visit as many National Parks as possible in the RV. He also loves working with his wife in gardening and caring for their flower beds. They also recently adopted 5 new girls – chickens!

Dr. Sean Koch
Family Medicine Physician
Dr. Sean Koch joined our team in June 2022! Welcome, Dr. Koch!

Dr. Koch was born in St. Louis, MO, but has spent most of his life in Searcy, Arkansas. He attended Harding University for his undergraduate degree and then UAMS for medical school. After medical school, he completed his residency at UAMS Family Medicine, Jonesboro. His clinical interests lie in diabetic management and high blood pressure management.

Dr. Koch lives in Memphis, TN, in Harbor Town/Mud Island, and is a member of High Point Church. He loves hiking, traveling, exercise, and snowboarding—his favorite National Park in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Dr. Hong Nguyen
Pediatrician
Dr. Nguyen graduated from the UAMS pediatric residency program in Little Rock and received training at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Originally from New Orleans, she obtained her medical degree from LSU New Orleans and has always been captivated by the rich culture of the southern region. She is excited to start a new chapter closer to Memphis, where she will be serving and caring for the local communities of Marion and Wynne.

As a strong advocate for children, Dr. Nguyen believes in creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and cared for. She prioritizes preventative care and family education while actively participating in community outreach programs. Outside of medicine, Dr. Nguyen enjoys staying active and connected to nature, often going on hikes and taking leisurely walks with her senior dog. Additionally, she has a strong appreciation for the arts and can frequently be found exploring galleries and attending live performances.
Dr. Maria Witherspoon
Dr. Maria C. Witherspoon, a Nashville, Tennessee native, was raised with a strong faith, community service values, and a passion for caring for others. Dr. Witherspoon graduated magna cum laude from Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry. She also served as the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) chapter president for two years. Prior to starting medical school, she was a substitute teacher and worked in her family wedding business and in marketing. Dr. Witherspoon was accepted into the BS/MD program at Meharry Medical College and pursued her career in medicine. She specialized in Family Medicine due to the specialty encompassing broad-spectrum care and long-term patient relationships. Dr. Witherspoon completed her residency training at Halifax Health in Daytona Beach, Florida, where she also served as recruitment chair during her second and third years. She graduated from the program Board Certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Witherspoon enjoys exploring coffee shops and restaurants, gaming, traveling, and spending quality time with loved ones.

Jodi Renigar
Nurse Practitioner, MSN-RN, FNP-BC
Jodi was born and raised in Saint Francis County, AR. She and her husband live in Palestine, AR with their four beautiful daughters. Jodi graduated high school from the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts in Hot Springs, AR. She attended Crowley’s Ridge Technical Institute in 2016 from the LPN program and EACC in 2020 from the LPN to RN program. She completed the MSN program at Walden University in February of 2023 and now holds board certification in family practice. Jodi was recruited to Harmony Health for her experience and interest in Women’s Health with other focuses in primary care, urgent care, and pediatrics. She loves the communities she serves and is ecstatic to be a part of Harmony Health.

Peyton joined the MFM family in May of 2022! Peyton previously completed almost 600 clinical hours with Dr. Mitchell as an NP student and grew to love working with the MFM team and how they prioritized their patients’ health needs above anything else. Peyton is fully committed to doing all she can to give the best possible care to every patient she sees here at MFM. She is kind and compassionate and highly detailed.

Peyton is married to Corbett, a pediatric operating room nurse at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. Peyton and Corbett are proud fur-parents to their 7-year-old lab, Ranger!

Ashley Duncan
Nurse Practitioner
Ashley is a local resident of Wynne and graduated from Wynne High School in 1996. She is a proud Yellowjacket alumni. She attended Arkansas State University for her undergraduate degree graduating nursing school in 2001. She worked as an RN over 19 years in the ICU, Cath Lab, Home Health, and as a Wynne School District building and district nurse. She pursued her Nurse Practitioner degree in 2018 at Harding University and graduated in 2020. She has experience in urgent care medicine including suturing, joint injections, family medicine, and women’s health. Her passion is treatment of diabetes, thyroid, and obesity.

Ashley is married to her husband, Pete Duncan, for 20 years and has 3 wonderful children, Luke, Rylee, and Parker. Luke is pursuing a career as a pharmacist, Rylee is currently in cosmetology school, and Parker is an 11th grade student and enjoys playing football and hunting ducks. Ashley is an active member of Wynne Baptist Church and has a heart for local and international missions. She has always felt a calling for two things, to love God and to love people and she uses this calling to care for her patients. Her favorite bible verse is 1 Peter 5:10. “And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you”.
Christian Garrett
Nurse Practitioner
Christian graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor’s in Health Sciences and a minor in Religion from Lee University in Cleveland, TN. In 2015 she graduated with a Bachelor in Nursing from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. Finally, in 2019, she graduated with a Doctorate in Nurse Practices – Pediatric Primary Care from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN with induction into Sigma Theta Tau. Christian is certified in Pediatric Primary Care from PNCB and is also certified as a Building Strong Brains – Tennessee Trainer regarding ACE awareness and how it affects physical, emotional, and mental health.

In addition to being a medical professional, she is also musically talented! She is classically trained in both voice and piano and has been doing both for 27 years. She was an All-Southwest Tennessee Honor Choir member for 6 years, All-State member for 1 year, and she even sung at President Obama’s Second Inauguration.
She has four puppies: Daisy, Major, Pippin, and Luna.
Will Curry
Physician Assistant
Mr. Will Curry is a board certified Physician Assistant. He joins the MFM team with several years of experience in primary and urgent care. His Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies was obtained at Christian Brothers University. Will has been married to his wife, Courtney, for six years. They have one child, a one year old son named Bennett. They live in East Memphis and are avid Memphis Tiger fans! Will enjoys being physically active, cooking, and reading a good book.
Will has a deep passion for living out the Gospel, especially through medical missions. This inspiration comes from what we see of Jesus in Mark 4:23 which reads “And He went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people.” Will has been privileged to go on multiple short term medical mission trips. Currently, he serves as a medical advisor with The Liquid Legacy in their efforts to provide increased medical care to the Bahamian island of Abaco. Will’s greatest medical interests lie in lifestyle medicine, preventive medicine, and general primary care.
